Meet Niall Hatch from Bird Watch Ireland for a free talk on bird-watching at Powerscourt Garden Pavilion in County Wicklow on 20th of September at 10:30am. Over 450 different bird species have been recorded in Ireland, an impressive total for a European island and making it a very exciting and interesting country for bird-watching. Learn about where and when to watch birds, how to buy and use binoculars, how to choose identification books and how to attract birds into your garden.

Niall will also give you some useful tips on how to find bird-watching events and activities! The talk is mainly aimed at complete beginners with no prior knowledge, but will certainly also be of benefit to anyone looking to improve their bird-watching skills or who wants to become more involved with local bird-watching groups and wildlife conservation. The event is free of charge and no booking is required.
